The 134th General Assembly of the SFC took place on 6 May 2022 at Welle 7 in Bern.

The ordinary business was conducted in the usual manner, the 2021 accounts and the 2022 budget were approved and the Board was discharged. Arnold Kuchen was made an honorary member after 35 years of membership in the SFC. The Young Scientist Award 2022 was presented to Robyn Megan Sutter for her Master's thesis entitled "Rheological, melting and lubrication properties of plant-based cheeses made from pea and zein". The President's presentation can be downloaded from the protected members' area.

Following the AGM, the seminar "PFAS - come to stay" took place. The 135th AGM will be held as part of the Swiss Food Science Meeting in summer 2023.
