The SFC is the professional society for chemical analysis of food and commodities in Switzerland. It is open to all persons who have acquired competence in this field in the broadest sense through training and/or professional activity.
The members of the SFC are active in various fields of food chemistry as well as in related disciplines, e.g. food technology, nutrition science or food safety, and are mainly interested in analytical problems.
The SFC is independent and committed to the principles of scientific excellence. It is not profit-oriented and sees itself as part of public life. The SFC wants to use the broad spectrum of expertise of its members both within the society and in public.
