SFC Young Scientist Awards 2026

After a three-year hiatus, the SFC Young Scientist Award has been presented once again. Emy Fabregue and Nina Schwager were recognised for their outstanding work.

Emy Fabregue was recognised for her master's thesis "Comparative Analysis of Indirect Methods for Monitoring Fungal Growth in Solid-State Fermentation of Filamentous Fungi". The award for the bachelor's thesis went to Nina Schwager for her work "The Influence of pH and Ion Concentration on the Stability of Lipid Droplets from Chlamydomonas reinhardtii UVM4". SFC congratulates both award recipients and wishes them every success in their future endeavours!
